KLRU Spark Event - KLRU's upcoming Spark event on March 20 at 6:30 p.m. features holocaust survivor and humanitarian Gerda Weissmann Klein in conversation with Dan Rather. KLRU would like to offer CHS members a special rate of $25 per ticket to attend the talk. Typically tickets are $45.

Gerda Weissmann Klein draws from her wealth of life experiences: from surviving the Holocaust and meeting her future husband on the day of her liberation, to her journey to the United States, accepting an Oscar and Emmy for a documentary based on her life, and her constant fight to promote tolerance, encourage community service and combat hunger. Special guest Dan Rather will join Mrs. Klein in conversation after her talk. This event is part of Light / The Holocaust & Humanity Project. You can see more details here.
