Tikkun Olam

Havurah's Outreach Committee supports our mission to provide a vibrant, egalitarian, diverse, engaged Jewish community through promoting acts of social responsibility steeped in Jewish values. We are a part of Georgetown's Ministerial Alliance.

Monies collected in our Tzedukah box at services are donated to a variety of local charities, such as The N.E.S.T., Back Pack Buddies, The Locker, R.O.C.K., Assistance League, Police Victims Assistance Program. We also collect "flip tops" from tin cans to support the Shriners in Georgetown.
